Today was filled with cleaning, a trip to Costco, homeschool, and baseball. I’m so thankful that I created a checklist at the beginning of this homestead spring cleaning week, because I’m starting to lose steam and the one thing that is keeping me going is that I feel determined to complete the checklist. Doesn’t it feel good to mark things off of a list? Even though I may have felt like giving up on the cleaning today, I will be so glad that I stuck with it at the end of this week and accomplished my goal.
Clean sheets drying on a clothesline makes my heart happy. The smell of air dried sheets is better than any dryer smell. They smell crisp and fresh.
This little thin broom is my FAVORITE! I know it probably sounds silly to get excited about a broom, but I use it every day, and it’s the perfect size to fit in all of the spaces. Todays focus was sweeping and cleaning the baseboards. This broom works perfectly for the job, plus it’s beautiful. Using beautiful tools brings joy to the task at hand.

Last but not least, was vacuuming behind and under all of the couches. I gave this job to my littlest helper. He did an excellent job, and it feels so good to have all of the random Legos and dust bunnies cleaned up.
